The basics
Dusty's Automotive and Mobile Service LLC is a Missouri limited liability company operating out of Cassville, Missouri. We provide mobile and shop-based auto repair services within a roughly 40 mile radius of Cassville and on selected longer routes outside that radius.
Written estimate before work
No wrench turns on your vehicle until you have a written estimate. The estimate states the diagnosed fault, the parts and labor required, the total cost, and the expected timeframe. If something else turns up mid-repair, we stop and write a new estimate before continuing.
Diagnostic and call-out fees
Diagnostic at the shop is $97. Mobile call out is $147. Roadside dispatch is $197. The fee covers the trip, the on-site diagnostic, and the written estimate. If you proceed with the repair, the fee credits to the job. If you do not, the fee stands as a line item.
Warranty
Every repair carries the manufacturer warranty on the installed part plus 30 days on Dusty's labor. If something we did fails inside the 30 day labor window, we come back at no charge and fix the labor side. The part warranty is the manufacturer's responsibility but we facilitate the return.
Warranty does not cover failure caused by other parts, prior damage, abuse, modification, or wear from continued use after we have advised replacement. We say so in writing on the estimate when the case is borderline.
Payment
Payment is by Square invoice only. The invoice arrives by text or email when the job is complete. Pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Cash App through Square. We accept fleet cards. We do not accept cash, personal checks, or post-dated payment.
Unpaid invoices accrue a late fee of 1.5% per month after thirty days. Vehicles dropped at the shop and abandoned past sixty days may be subject to mechanic's lien per Missouri statute, after written notice.
What we do not do
Transmission rebuilds, frame and unibody work, alignments, tire mount and balance, and any job that requires a lift, a frame jig, or specialty machine work. We refer those out to trusted shops rather than attempt them driveway-side.
Service area
Primary service area is a 40 mile radius from Cassville, Missouri. Outside that radius we may accept calls but reserve the right to add a travel adjustment, which is always quoted before we leave.
Cancellation
If you cancel a scheduled mobile visit more than 24 hours in advance, no fee. Inside 24 hours we may charge half the call-out fee to cover lost slot time. If we cancel on you, no charge and we reschedule first available.
Limitation of liability
Dusty's is liable for the work we perform to industry standard, our 30 day labor warranty, and the value of any property we damage by negligence during a repair. We are not liable for prior damage, consequential damage from a failure we advised you to address, or anything outside the scope of the written estimate.
Governing law
Missouri law governs these terms. Disputes are resolved in the courts of Barry County, Missouri.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the bottom marks the current version. Continued use of our services after a change indicates acceptance.
